Swine All Around Us

lately the world has been going crazy over this new strain of flu called the swine flu. i mean to me it is just the regular flu but to some it is a nightmare they can"t wake up from, but what is this flu about anyway? they say this "swine flu" is caused by influenza strain called H1N1 and can be passed by touching, kissing,and especially airborne. they say to make sure your washing your hands as much as possible. what i want to know is this just another scare or do we have to take some big steps to controlling this and if so they should tell us now. the biggest scare i have about this right now is that in my moms job they found one case of the swine flu. with this being know they still have the building opened which can be harmful but because people don't know what to do they continue to go along with there everyday life and because of that i think there nothing to worry about and don't panic this is just the regular flu.

The Time Of The Year

At this time of the school year every one is getting worried and sick not only because of the weather but just because of knowing the end is near . It seems like depression and anxiety starts to kick in .This to me is the end of the year sickness. no one wants to be in school and everyone is worried about doing good i wonder if there is away to make this time of the year easier for use (iamage from flickr) .

the green day

on April 3 I went to some career break out sessions conference about being more green at first I was thinking that it was not going to be that interested in the conference because the career i am in has nothing to do with the environment.

The Health Care System

I decided that the subject that I am most interested in was Health Care. I got interested in medical care after getting sick and having to go to hospital. In this past visit to the hospital I was in the Bronx. The hospital i usually go to is in Freehold, NJ, where my mother lives. I noticed that in the city there were many people, it was very disorganized, and very cluttered. In Freehold it is less crowded, you are given your own room, and you get entertainment.

I think that the reason for these differences is because of the insurance an individual may have. Some places do not take all types of insurance, so people do not get to have regular doctors visits.
